Foubister's Shop 30 Albert St. Kirkwall Probably original owner David Shearer Foubister on the left. The frontage would have been changed after this picture but the name above remained the same until the shop closed after the death of its next owner George Sinclair.

I can confirm that this is David Shearer Foubister. He married a great aunt of mine, Isabella (Belle) MacDonald from Heights of Inchvannie, near Strathpeffer. They built the house called Inchvannie in Old Scapa Road, which is now the Bahá'í Centre.
