Comments:
The Bishop of Bergen, Peter Hognestad (12 November 1866 – 1 September 1931), with the ruff, is on the left. A Norwegian Lutheran bishop, theologian, writer, and translator, he was from Jæren in Norway and served as the Bishop of the Diocese of Bjørgvin from 1916 until his death in 1931.

On the right is the Rev. William Barclay. He was ordained to the Second Charge, Kirkwall, on 12th Feb. 1919, and admitted to the First Charge, 24th Dec. 1919.
