This is a photograph of Jane/Jeannie Rendall. Born about 1805 Birsay who married John Rendall ( born c.1796 died 1880) of Firth & Evie. After he died she seems to have gone to visit her son, John Rendall, who had settled at Cedar Bank, Grey County, Ontario, and died there in 1886. She travelled with her granddaughter and the latter seems to have met & married her future husband there.

Jane Rendall's grandaugther Catherine Bain Campbell is my great grandmother, who married my great Grandfather James Knight Dick.
