As predicted in a comment on picture #28139 (Elizabeth Buchan's mystery pic added on 19 Jan) here's a shot I took while waiting my turn to go ashore in one of Devonia's lifeboats while on a cruise round the 'bird islands of Scotland' organised by the Scottish Ornithologists Club (SOC). The lifeboat in the shot has a dark line below the gunwale like that in picture #28139.
I'll submit another pic from the same cruise but on a completely different subject.

Photo needs to be flipped horizontally, Ayre Hotel and oil tanks at the wrong sides.

Of course Tommy. Thanks. Must have put slide in scanner wrong way round, then not examined the result carefully enough. But it's not worth re-submitting in flipped form, now that everyone knows the score.
