Herston Hostel 1978- Here is a picture of the front of Sandy Annal's Hostel on Widewall bay.

This house was built by my grandfather John Norquay as far as i know. My father Jimmie Norquay from Herston sold it to Sandy Annal.

I stayed here in 1985 and 1986 to do my mapping project. The second year Sandy gave me Sunday’s free as he’d put the prices up! Remember the cooker, which gave electric shocks to anyone not wearing rubber soles. And the local doctor let me come round to use the shower! Absolutely loved it :)
