i remember fishing for wee crabs from the end of this blockship when I was growing up in Burray. I never thought it would be entirely under sand only a few short years later. I'm very glad to see this photo. Thank you for posting it.

I remember when I was little staying with my great gran Katie Sinclair (who used to live in Starley cottage on South Ronaldsay) during our summer holidays, when I would play around the wreck of the Carron. Great days.
