The Brims Lifeboat poem

This was a bit o poetry written by Grandad's sister Bella Thomson, so my grand Aunt.
Bella was a servant girl at Ness House beside the Longhope Pier, I imagine around 1920 or there abouts the Lifeboat was called to a ship in distress to the East o Copansay but the orders to launch were not given for some reason and the men were not allowed so launch for some time.
As the poem tells the story better than I can I will say no more as I do not know much more than that only a name plate was I beleave washed up in Dearness and was "Tameraxe or Tamarare".
When the Lifeboat came back to Longhope the crew had to be helped ashore so cold and weather beaten were they this sight so moved Bella that she penned the poem seen here in our mothers hand writing.
Bella died around 1948 Mother died in 1988.
This is a piece o history that will stir the "hert" o any Brims born person "Eh Capt Fred".

Comments:
That is so good. I know now where your mum's poetry writing gene comes from John. Tony Robertson was also good at writting poetry.
