What's this little brown bird that was outside my house this afternoon? Apologies if it's something I should know!

Juvenile Blackbird, Isobel. Probably not yet a strong flier and therefore vulnerable to prowling pussy-cats. Hope it survives.

We have a female blackbird near identical to this one, and she is so tame that she will stay at the patio door while we slide it open, she knows where her next meal is coming from..
