The sign that was fixed for many years (until the late 70's / early 80's) on the end wall of what was my grandparents' and then auntie's shop in Shore Street... although the shop had been shut for many years before!
It was on the wall next to The Queen's Hotel (now The Shore), although it's not there in picture #597, so I don't know when it was put up.
