Whit a super photo. I like the wee lad on the right wi' the kettle.

Now that I have studied the picture,I do not think the child on Kitty Scotts knee is me. Cousin Jim was at least five years older than me. I was born in 1933. I wonder if the child could be Jim's sister Iris?
Added by Sandy Scott on 22 April 2012
Well Sandy, it could be Iris, but I'm sure I showed this to Iris many years ago and she didn't say it was herself. Maybe Shiela Wylie, Nellies daughter.

Hi Ian, the woman is Kate Goodsir and her husband Bob and the child will be theirs. The fiddler is a Louttit possible Ernie
Added by Bob Scott on 05 June 2012
My father, James Scott, the child with the kettle.

I love this photo. I have it framed in my house.

Thanks Bob nothing wrong with your memory,I did recall the fiddler was one of the Louttits.I will amend my photo.
Yes Carrie it is a excellent piece of family history.
So Sandy you were right it wasnt you.

I'm quite sure the fidler is Ernie Louttit, lived next my grandparents (Innes)(Crowsnest) in a place called Lobers. The Croft is still there with red front doors. Her spouse was Peggy famous in those days for her baking skills.
