This Burray photo,taken looking towards The Point, has a fine looking pair of bairns in the foreground. Having had no luck in identifying them, I wonder if anyone may recognise their relatives. It is thought the photo may be from the early decades of the last century.

Hi Herbert, thought I would let you know that the bairns in the photograph are my late father Andrew Petrie Ross and his sister 'Cissy'. The photograph is about 1934/35. This is one I have not seen before.

Thanks Eddy, it shows the value of the Orkney Image Library, otherwise the photo would have just remained "Two unknown bairns ".
