In connection with picture #26114, here's a shot I took of HMS Bulwark - affectionately (?) known as the 'Rusty B' - at Aden in either 1962 or 63. When next she called at Aden she was en route to UK, presumably for refit with no aircraft embarked, and she took on board the private cars of military personnel at or near the end of their tour of duty in Aden, of whom I was one. A stroke of luck for those of us who'd taken advantage of Aden's tax-free prices but were expecting to pay a tidy sum to get our purchases home. (I don't think this was the refit Willie Watters refers to above.)
