Found in St. Olaf's church - no year given but the reverse bears the caption:
"Nativity play in the Episcopal Church, Dundas Crescent, Kirkwall.
John Abercrombie, Colin Thomson, Marina Molyneaux, Lydia Butcher, Colin Marshall?, William Branett, Cynthia Johnston, Douglas Lloyd, Sarah Butcher and Sandra Lloyd."

I think this will be much earlier than 1970. Looking at the names given and the size of the children I would say late 50s. John Abercrombie's sister Judith was in my primary classes at least up to primary 4 (she is in my photo for that class) which would be 1958. I believe that the family would have left Orkney shortly after that.

As mentioned, I have no idea as to the date, but suspected it to be early 1960's. However, Colin Marshall may be the son of the Rev. John Marshall and if that is correct then the latter was Rector of St. Olaf's church between 1954 and 1959.

I'm second from the right, and my name is Michael Marshall. I was one of the 3 wise men, and my gold crown had fruit gums stuck on as jewels. It was very effective, but didn't last.
