Seventy-five years ago to-day,12th.January 2012. These are the survivors of the Johanna Thorden where some of them were staying with Mrs. Ara Macdonald at Viewfield, St Margaret's Hope.

Just a hint Herbert. I was wondering if I had sent a picture in also. To find out I went to the Contributers page and looked at the pics I had sent in and yes, there it was.

Hello, I am public librarian from the island of Hailuoto. One of yours, Mr. Atte Henttu was among the survivors of this wreckage of m/s Johanna Thorden. We do not know is he in this picture as a young man. He is said to be washed to the shore, maybe cemetery grounds and survived to live a long life on his home island in Finland, Bothnia Bay, opposite town of Oulu. But is he in this crew picture?
