Photo 20 Sep 2006. A small fraction of the late R Ian Lorimer's collection held by Orkney Archive. Species in columns 1 - 6, top to bottom: 1 Wood Tiger, Garden Tiger; 2 Garden Tiger; 3 Cream-spot Tiger, Jersey Tiger; 4 Scarlet Tiger, Clouded Buff; 5 Ruby Tiger, Cinnabar; 6 Buff Ermine. I don't think all these moths were collected in Orkney, but some probably were. If I've misidentified any no doubt someone will correct me.
