Hoy Drama Group around 1950
Here are the members of a play put on in the Hoy Hall, aren't the costums briliant?
Issac Moar-Leslie Sinclair-John Falconer-
Mary Ritch-Mrs Inkster-Mr Turnbull.
Any one remember the production?.

I believe Mrs Inkster only died quite recently, just short of 100 years old, she was my teacher as a kid and also our neighbour. I think Mr Turnbull was a teacher too...

Yes Mr Turnbull- was my grandfather- and he was a teacher.

Later than 1950. Ian Turnbull was at Edinburghr same time as me - graduated 1962. His wife Eileen Norquoy came from the 'Hope

Hello, Ian Turnbull is a different person not related to the Mr Turnbull in the photo. My grandfather was originally from Dundee.

OK Genevieve. The gentleman in the photo is very like Ian that I knew. I did know a Gerald Turnbull at Kirkwall School whose father taught in Evie I think and I know he had sisters. Is that the same Turnbulls as yourself ?
