Well Steven,that being the case, I dont think that this could be the wooden building I thought it was.
Although I stayed in the vicinity for two years,1965-67 approx.,I imagined it was nearer to the houses at the entrance off the Grainbank Road.It was a grand place to stay in the summer time but not so nice in a depth of snow.

Can you give me an idea exactly where this photo was taken,say in relation to Grainbank road or where the shop was, etc.
The wooden building on the right looks a bit out of place to me, so I shall await your reply.
It's my feeling that it was placed there and not one of the original HMS Sparrowhawk buildings.
[Is that not the Grain Earth House's black railings on the left of the picture Peter? Which would make it above where the shop was - Steven]
