Another from the Colin McKay collection this one had "Rien"written on the back does this mean anything to anyone?.

The S.S.Rien was a Norwegian steamship which grounded at Helman Head, South of Wick in 1937. She became a total wreck, but the crew were rescued by a Wick fishing boat.

Possibly the Norwegian steamer RIEN that went ashore in poor visibility at Helman Head sooth o Wick April 1937, crew saved by a Wick fishing boat but the vessel was lost to the sea

Likely to be the SS Rein, (1176 tons) A Norwegian vessel with a cargo of timber pulp, ran aground at Helman Head, south of Wick on 13 Apr 1937. No crew casualties.

Rien is Norwegian for 'artery' and the name of a lake near Roros.
