I think the Phyllis next to Colin Tait was Phyllis Jones I think she lived near the Royal (Orkney) Hotel

Teacher's name is Irene Mailer. She stayed at the old Hostel when I was a pupil there. She married a banker and moved to the Western Isles.

I dont think this photo was taken in 1955 - photos were taken in 52 54 56 58 while I was at KGS.
nor was it in 1954 as I was in Miss Mellors class then Primary 5A. More likely 1952 Primary 3B
