An early 'Hope Regatta. Photo taken at Smiddybanks Pier, date probably late 19th. century. The buildings at the other side of the bay are the Station and Petrie's Boat Builders Shed.

Great photo Herbert, whare dae yae git such historic photographs they are pricless as a record o life gean by.
I winder hoo many o that yoles are still on the go? they wid been quite new then and what a lot there are, I can make oot 27 sets o sails anyway.
