1968-9 Rochester Castle. Anyone out there who sailed on this one? I flew to Durban to join her and all the way back to London the cooks had to cook on primus stoves on top of No3 hatch as they couldnt get the galley to work. When we got to London, barring one guy, the whole crew signed on for another voyage. She still had plates covering the shrapnel holes in the bridge structure. She was the first ship to break the blockade of Malta during WW2.
