where is the control tower at HMS Tern?

The control tower is quite a conspicuous building on Twatt aerodrome (HMS Tern) and can easily be seen from the Birsay Stromness road. Signs mark the access track.

If you go up the Bryameadow road you should see it on the right hand side.

My Father served there for about twelve months in 1944-ish.
