Old Deerness School

Inside the old Deerness school. It would be interesting to hear memories from folk who were pupils there.

Comments:
Recognise it and remember it as if it were yesterday. The sinks just inside the front door. We used to go there for a drink or to wash your hands and also to wash out our paint brushes.

I was in the last class ever to start school at Deerness and when I see the photo's I can also remember it, mind you I am a lot younger than Christine.
That was probably 1966, then it closed after a year or so and we had to go to St Andrews. I could put a class photo on but I would have to check with Irvine first cos he's got mud on his short breeks.
