Old Deerness School

Inside the old Deerness school. It would be interesting to hear memories from folk who were pupils there.

Comments:
The old fire in the 'big room'! We used to warm our tattie crisps on the fire at playtime and then eat them hot with the fat melted. The headteacher, Mr MacInnes always wondered where the brown marks on top of the fire came from. Through the door and on your right was the dining room and on your left the corridor down to the school house.
