Door of 41 Victoria St, Stromness

On door of 41 Victoria Street Stromness, the shop was owned by Guilo Fugaccia in early 1900's.This was on the shop just a few years ago. Who were the artists, what was the story behind it and where did the painting go after the shop was sold?

Hello Helen,

I’m a researcher exploring the presence of Italians in Orkney for a photographic pop-up exhibition at the University of St Andrews. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about Giulio Fugaccia, if possible.

Please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
