This is my great grandmother (Ann Lyon)'s sister (Mary Sinclair's) family, the Sutherlands.
Mary Sinclair Lyon married Samuel Sutherland in 1877. the LYONS were from the Graemsay area.
I believe this picture is from the early 1900's

Thanks for posting the photo. I live in Sandside on Graemsay, the home of the Sutherland family and have a plate from the "wedding china" of Samuel and Mary. This photo was probably take outside Sandside, and I think would have been taken after 1910.
