Looks like a mk2 massey 65, so must be 1960 or later

Must have been taken at Swanbister, Orphir, judging by the trees. We moved there in the late 50s from messigate. I think it was an International ?? that Messigate had. I remember it was very big and grey. Up until then Dad worked two horses. I may be wrong about the type of tractor (It's a female failing1)

It's a Massey Ferguson 65 Mk1 as it has a wedge like shape casting between the engine sump and the gearbox.

you are right,it is a mk1 65 as the oil filter sits at an angle,the mk2 are vertical so tractor was built between 1957 and 1960

Bought a second hand one BS 5949 late 60s fae Scarths - not a good tractor.
