New byre

This is the new byre at Ingsay, built in 8 weeks by Mark Norquoy. It is a big step forward from our old tied byres. Once MLM deliver our new Strautmann mixer wagon the wheelbarrows will be made redundant!

Very, very smart metal work, did you take it into the county or was it made locally? Added by Phil Brough.

The steel frame was made in Inverurie by Forest and fitted to perfection. The locking yokes and dividing gates were supplied by HIS in Kirkwall and fitted eventually! (sorry Freddie). Several people have commented on the quality of the gates, they are superior to anything else I have seen.
