I knew all the people in the first picture in the thirties Tom Bain being my fathers eldest brother from Westray (my uncle). Robert Milne was a cabinetmaker to trade and had a furniture shop in Junction Road. We had all, or most of their records.

Gilbert and Madge Voy are my grandparents and young Gilbert Voy is my father. I so fondly recall them singing and relating stories from their past growing up in Orkney. They have left behind several generations of musical talent and appreciation. Thank you Granny and Grandpa Voy. Your granddaughter Avril (Voy) Henderson
