Former KGS boy flies the Orkney flag on his newly acquired Dunkirk veteran “Lammouette”. Following on ownership from Ian and Daphne Rennie, their ownwership is well documented on the Dunkirk little ship website along with the ships very interesting history. She is currently in Ramsgate marina.
The Lammuette, a motor yacht was built in 1936 by the admeralty as an admirals barge. She is 45ft long with a 13ft beam and a draft of 4ft 6 inches. Her displacment is 19.68 tons.
It has a BMC 6 cyl deisel and a Petter 8hp wing engine. The construction is double diaganol teak on teak.
