The date is a guess. My mother Mary Croy is 4th from the left in the front row. Can anyone name the others?

Your mother and you, I both know of course Cathleen as we were neighbours for some years, and glad I can help with a few names.
Back row extreme right is a gentleman known as John Drever.He was from London and living in Kirkwall with his aunt and uncle during the war years.
Standing next to him is Harry Marwick, and next to him, in the middle is Dave Kemp.
On the left of the middle row is a Sanday lady, Morag Learmonth.
Second from the left front row is Tony Rosie.
Second from the right front row is a gent called Laird who lived as I remember somewhere just on the outskirts of Kirkwall.
Perhaps if someone could show this to Dave Kemp he might possibly be able to I/D the remainder.

I am John Cormack, 2nd from the left back row, Deerness. Now living in Longniddry, East Lothian.
Next to me, on the left is Steve Brodie, Sunnybrae or Sunnybank, St Ola - I think now in Canada.
Front row first on the left is Ian Eunson, Deerness.
Front row first on the right is Robbie Rosie, St Margaret's Hope.
I am not so good on the girls' names, but next to Morag Learmonth, I think her name was Wishart, the next was Ward or Wards, then Wylie, then Wiseman. I can't remember the girl next to Mary Croy.

I’ve just been sent this and I can see my mum, Isobel Wishart who passed away last week aged 92. A lovely picture which I will show my dad, David Rendall who is still with us aged 97. Thank you for posting.
