This one looks to me like the remnants of the 226 Battery Royal Artillery Probably taken at Weyland.

It is the Burma Star association. My Grandad Billy Rosie is pictured on the front row first on the left.

This picture was taken the same night as picture #8202.It was a TA reunion in 1979. I was in the TA at the time as i ended up driving most of these men home in the TA landrover.

Third from left,Jock Scott,sixth from left,Johnie Wards and the man in the centre front is David Work.All three are from Shapinsay so not Kirkwall ex-servicemen and not the Burma Star either.David Work was a WW1 vetran.
