Jim - Must be you at the back in the middle! I know a few of the other names but would appreciate if you could name them all. Any idea when Rovers were formed? Trying to find out if we've missed our centenery yet! I think they go back as far as 1908 anyway?

The year is actually 1956. The trophy on the left is the Heddle Cup and the Shield is the Challenge Shield.

Front row: ??, ??, Billy Stephen.

Thank you for this picture. That's my (handsome) dad, Billy Stephen at 19 years old, in the front with the shield at his feet. I wonder what position he played then.
