Having twice made a comment about this photo which I submitted, I wonder what I am doing wrong! A suitable caption is "Burning the Kaiser in South Ronaldsay". I have learned that the gentleman on the left with the beard is John Rosie, grandfather of Robert Rosie. Added by Herbert Mackenzie

The good folk of S Ronaldsay really shouldn't burn a man who's got his hands in the air and KAMERAD around his neck.
