Was he the same Davie Irvine who was the skipper of the Bank Boat, 'Otterbank'?

Davie was an extremely pleasant individual with an equally pleasant personality who never had a bad word to say about anyone. Many thanks for your confirmation, Allan. I am very sorry to learn Davie is no longer with us as I recall many happy times with him and Willie Groat on the 'Otterbank' which, I understand, sadly, lies in a very impoverished state on Hatston slip.
