Wow that's great photo Barbara, I remember we always stayed in the attic bedroom & used to rummage in the eaves to find old toys. Great photo.

It was a super place for kids Judie. It has all been changed now but I loved thinking that it was the hidden room. The door leading to the attic was in the bathroom and just looked like a cupboard but once you opened it the small windy wooden staircase made it so inviting leading us up to a room where we could stay and no one knew where we were. Its view over Wideford Hill, Kirkwall Bay, Carness was breath taking. Again this view has gone but the memories stay! There was just one problem – if someone came into the bathroom you were stuck in the attic! Do you remember the rowing machine under the bed?
