I have heard that the ex ships lifeboat that Dr Sydney Peace had named White Wyngs, was a lifeboat from the Johanna Thorden, but looking at this photo it seems the planking is narrower than most ships boats that were around here.
Does anyone know what became of the two lifeboats from this ship? I believe the other one came into Dingeshow in Dearness.

John, the lifeboat that came into Dingishowie empty went to Papay to ferry passengers to/from the steamer. There is an article & photo on this boat in the book "Almost an Island", (p235). Maybe somebody Nort o the Galt wid hae more info on this.
