The boys found this frog in the middle of the oats. It sat very patiently while I took photos. I deposited it very carefully in the middle of a hosta in the garden in the hope that it would eat a few slugs!

Wow! What a size of a frog. They don't get to be this size in France as the poor things are killed for their legs - yuk! I must admit I did eat frogs legs once and enjoyed them as they are a bit like chicken but even nicer! The thought of them going around in wheel chairs put me off!!! Sorry.

Yes Barbara, Orkney can produce quality livestock! We're starting small 'hopping' to expand!
