The Millenium Stone, Eastside, South Ronaldsay

"Taken on a warm, sunny afternoon last July," writes Lynne.

I could not believe this picture when I saw it. I was in South Ronaldsay for a week in April. I was visiting St Peter graveyard, where most of my Sinclair family are buried. I had intended to go and see the stone for myself, but I was not sure exactly where it was. I cannot believe I was almost next to it without even seeing it. I guess I was far to busy looking for my Sinclair's gravestones.

like the other structures in the picture it has probably been fieldfenced now, went there recently but decided not to disturb the cows as I was part of a group

I too am related to the Sinclair's.
My Great Great Grandfather was Peter Sinclair, died in Sydney in 1874.
