He's a mean looking guy Lyndon, Is that his chin sticking out ?? I like the thin band just below his head gear too. Is that at waulkmill by any chance ?

You're exactly right. If you go further along this shore you'll find some incredible eroded sandstone shapes

When you next visit Hoy stop your car on the high road before you reach the hall and look on the edge o the ward hill a man can be seen sitting wearing a cap. This was brought to my notice by the late owner of the Hoy estate Mr Malcolm Stewart he said "Good god boy he just sits there doing nothing all bl**dy day"!!.
