Harry Berry painting

Here is another painting done by Harry Berry, in this he shows the rescue of nine men from the grounded trawler "Ben Barvas" ashore on the Little Skerry at Pentland Skerries on the 3rd January 1964.

For this rescue the Longhope crew were awarded a silver medal.
The wreck of the "Ben Barvas" can still be seen on the Peedie skerry to this day.

Come along to the exhibition at the Longhope Musuem and see more of Harry's work.
