A gathering of firemen from Kirkwall,Stromness and the Hope in the Casablanca to mark the Retirement of Firemaster Willam Shand from the Highland and Islands Fire Brigade in 1985. Ken Martin (light suit), was the Divisional Officer of Caithness, Orkney and Shetland also was stationed in Kirkwall for a number of years, making the presentation.
