Arctic Convoys Memorial

A memorial for those lost in the Arctic convoys to Russia was dedicated and unveiled in a ceremony on 22nd August 2009. The ceremony was introduced by Lord Lieutenant Tony Trickett, and the welcome given by OIC Vice-Convener James Stockan and the Chairman of the Duma of the Russian province of Ugra, Vasily Sondykov.
