My mother (Milo) and my uncle Willie Ritch. Willie could easily pass as one of Al Capone's mob from the days of the Chicago gangsters!! Perhaps not - Chicago is a long way from the Smiddy in Stronsay!!!

Billy your mother looks a tall handsome lady. In our old family photo box lots of the old photos have push bikes in them. I suppose a bike was the transport to get people around on a Sunday before the new age of the motor car.
