Bollards for ever??

Another shot of the bollards at the Summerdale Drive/ Craigie Crescent junction. The roadworks associated with the removal of these bollards has been there for three months now. Note the pavement parking. How wrong I was when I entitled picture #25007 taken 10th April “Bollards no more”.

Comments:
When they finally do go Sandy, I hope we'll see a photo of you standing on this corner bollard naked.

9th September, and these bollards and road works still there.
And I am not taking my clothes off for Ian Hourston. (see above)

You mistook my meaning Sandy. It's the CORNER that should be bollard naked, not YOU.

I can't understand why our councillors agreed to it in the first place, what next, a tram system perhaps.

It is now the 2nd October and these roadworks are still with us. This junction has been like this since spring.

I contacted the OIC complaining about the state of the kerbs and pavements, and the answer? Lack of funds. Hope springs eternal Sandy.

Neil, I was told two years ago by a councillor that funds were in place to repair the pavements in the Quoybanks Area. This has only been partially done - where new street lighting was involved. I will be pursuing this matter.
