Would that be the Corrigal owned boat "Catreono" extreme left of this photo? If so there is a photo of her on this site already.
The Corigalls had left Hoy before my minding.
"Catreona" was built in Stromness I think by J MacKay who may have been married to a sister of Jimmy, Tommy, and Alfie.
I can remember the "Catreona" and the "Iris" both calling to gether in Longhope on there way to Skye, newly built, mayby around 1967??.

aye thats one of mine downloaded by mistake, its of PORTREE harbour showing fishing boats and fish farm boats tied up for the weekend thats the IRIS and the CATRIONA both built PIA ANDERSONS 1967. The light blue one in the first tier is the CATRIONA and the dark blue one in the first tier is the IRIS.the IRIS was built for TOMMY&ALFIE CORRIGALL who both moved down to the ISLE-OF-SKYE from ORKNEY in the early fifties, the CATRIONA was built for JOHN ANGUS MACPHERSON from portree a close friend of TOMMY&ALFIE. "Catriona" is picture #7675.I was in Portree in 2006 when the new boat came home.

Cheers for that John. Found it now thanks for that. You should have come over for a blether. She is a big boat compared to the old one, have more pictures will put them on at the weekend. Thanks again. Regards James corrigall
