She is a relation of yours John, used to be a neeber of ours, think now, we need to

Is Terry Thomsons mum??. If not I have no idea.
Added by John Budge on 14 April 2008
She is your Grandfaither Jimmack o Burnhoose's brother Jock's daughter Lizzie, married name was Curran. They had a daughter Heather if my memory is right.
the guess at terry's mum wasn't too far away, I think she would maybe have been
his fathers sister, not 100% on that but related somehow anyway.

Lizzie Curran née Thomson was a friend of Kathie Richardson née Simpson. Lizzie even lived with her for a while in Dunfermline when she was older and suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, her daughter Heather lives in Canada. Lizzie smoked like a chimney and so did Bert Richardson, he would light one fag from the other, a real chain smoker!
I would think that Lizzie's man went to work at Rosyth the same as so many round about 1957/58 when a lot of Lyness was closing down.
