Replica Galley

Stromness Lifeboat with Aileach in tow approaching Stromness Pier after a long tow from 70 miles south-west of Stromness. Aileach suffered a broken rudder in a heavy swell and force 6 north-west wind and was forced to abandon her voyage north until repairs were made in Stromness.
