Comments:
It's a 1938 Daimler sports saloon, a DB-17 I think, but possibly a Light 20.

Looks like the car that belonged to the late Cecil Walls, the lawyer at TP Lows, possibly taken at Hillhead.

I heard recently that this car still exists somewhere in England, but minus the registration number. It did belong to Cecil Walls, but was originally registered to Walter Grant, which explains its being at Hillhead in this photo.

I now own this car (its now in Shropshire) and I have been trying to research the history of it. The origial registration number was sold some years ago so the car now has an age related number.I was told by a previous owner that the car was requisitioned by the Navy during the war but I can't find anything to confirm this, can anyone give me any further information regarding this?
