Binscarth-Peggy and Hester

Mrs Sandy Scarth and Mrs Bob Scarth respectively

Heather writes:
'Loved the website so thought Id donate some of my own. My mother is Fay Scarth, whose father was Alexander Scarth of Binscarth, and I have attached here several photos including some of my grandparents and their relations that I hope you and the website visitors might enjoy. Amongst them Mum's Uncle Bob and their cousin Henry William (of Breckness), both of whom were to later serve as Lord Lieutenant. We still have relations in Orkney and look forward to seeing them again this summer when we visit.'

Heather is researching the Scarth family tree and is keen to hear from anyone else researching the Orkney Scarths- click on Heather's name above the picture to get a contact email address.

Comments:
Are you the Scarth related to Betty Dickey who was my neighbour in Broughty Ferry and taught at Dundee high school. She was a very good lady and I visited her in Finstown when she stayed there also Scarth House.
